"Spitfire Over Ilfracombe" This watercolour painting depicts Flight Sargeant Butler of 130 squadron doing a sector reconnaissance over Ilfracombe on 3rd April 1942 in a Spitfire Vb. Before returning to base at Perranporth he landed at RAF Chivenor to refuel.
